Manchester United will be hoping to make it two wins out of two in the Champions League when they welcome RB Leipzig to Old Trafford on Wednesday evening.
The Red Devils silenced their critics for the time being last week after securing a win away to French champions Paris Saint-Germain. However, that was followed by a tight goalless draw with Chelsea at the weekend, leaving United still searching for their first home win of the new campaign.
They now face Bundesliga leaders RB Leipzig, who also got off to the perfect start in Europe last week by beating Istanbul Basaksehir 2-0 at home.
Manchester United vs RB Leipzig predictions
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer earned some respite from criticism after United beat PSG but the pressure will be straight back on the Norweigan if they lose to Leipzig. A point against the Germans will probably be enough to keep the doubters off his back and that’s one reason why we are backing the draw.

Leipzig can share the spoils
Wednesday’s meeting will be the first competitive fixture between the clubs and the hosts will be hoping to improve on their recent record against Bundesliga opponents.
United have won just one of their last four matches against German opposition in Europe, losing away to Wolfsburg and Bayern Munich in that run.
However, they fare better at Old Trafford and are unbeaten in their last 10 home matches against Bundesliga sides, their last defeat coming at the hands of Bayern Munich back in 2001.
However, Leipzig will travel with some confidence having made a hot start to the season, while also finding their feet on their Champions League travels last term.
Since losing their first two away games in the competition, Leipzig have won four and drawn one of their next five on the road. The last time they visited England, in February, they won 1-0 at Spurs, and having begun the domestic campaign with four wins out of five, they pose a serious threat to United.
However, since their own home defeat by Spurs, by an embarrassing 6-1 scoreline, United have shown more mettle and a draw looks on the cards between two evenly matched sides.

Stage set for Fernandes to shine
Since arriving in Manchester, Bruno Fernandes has shown he can handle the expectations of wearing the United shirt. He has 16 goals for the club since his summer move in January 2020, the majority of them coming from the penalty spot.
United boss Solskjaer has relied heavily on the playmaker, who has so far rewarded that faith. The Portuguese’s record in Europe is also equally as impressive, with Fernandes directly involved in 17 goals in his last 14 starts for Sporting Lisbon and United.
He has 12 goals and five assists in that time, and his penalty-taking duties make him an attractive bet in the any-time scorer market.
Tip: Bruno Fernandes to score at any time @ 2/1 with bet365
A cricket score at Old Trafford?
United’s biggest issues this season have been at the back, their failure to sign a new centre-back in the summer, coupled with a dip in form from Harry Maguire, leading to some high-profile issues. They have one clean sheet in their last four and have only kept five clean sheets in their last 15.
Leipzig arrive at Old Trafford having scored 10 goals in their last four matches, coping admirably since the departure of Timo Werner with only Bayern netting more goals in the Bundesliga this season.
With both teams hoping to make a statement after winning their opening group games, over 3.5 goals has every chance of landing this time around.
Tip: Over 3.5 goals @ 2/1 with bet365
