3 Free PlayStation Games Now Available For PS Plus Members

Right on schedule, Sony’s monthly rotation of free content for PlayStation Plus has arrived, bringing with it three new titles for all subscribers to enjoy without having to spend a dime. In case you missed the initial announcement last week, December’s picks include Avalanche Studios’ open world action-adventure sequel, Just Cause 4, as well as Worms Rumble and Rocket Arena.

As is standard for this promotion, gamers will have roughly one month to download those included in the selection, whereupon you’ll once again be required to pay full price. The cutoff date this time around is January 4th, however, so there’s still ample opportunity to make space on your hard drive.

As a small aside, it’s worth noting that folks who already own a PlayStation 5 can take full advantage of the console’s backwards compatibility feature to play any of the trio, with Team17’s aforementioned Worms Rumble now

Free remote learning support is out there, but some Seattle students still can’t get access

Are you looking for resources to help your school-age children through the academic year? From free tutoring to meals and enrichment programs, they’re out there — if you know where to look.

Across Seattle, agencies that typically serve youth and families have reallocated funds, staff and other resources to offer more support. Community organizations and grassroots groups have also stepped up their efforts to help fulfill needs that might normally have been met in-person while kids were attending school.

The Seattle Parks and Recreation operates seven learning hubs across the region, offering free learning support, enrichment programs and meals to middle and high school students — the age groups not served by the department’s child care and preschool programs.

“We know remote learning can make things more difficult for families,” said Damien Hicks, the department’s manager of Community Learning Centers.

Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan recently announced a new initiative to

Thanksgiving in Denver, From Free Frozen Birds to $200 Turducken | Investing News

By Ann Saphir and Kevin Mohatt

SAN FRANCISCO/DENVER (Reuters) – The United States is having a Thanksgiving holiday like no other.

More than 20 million people are on some form of unemployment insurance, and a fresh wave of layoffs is coming, as restaurants and other in-person businesses close amid a huge jump in novel coronavirus infections that is filling hospital beds.

Although travel is discouraged by health officials, millions have done so anyway, raising fears of more infections to come. Wealthier Americans insulated from the economic downturn and those hit hardest by it are preparing for the yearly feast on Thursday in disparate ways.

The U.S. recovery from the pandemic has been remarkably uneven, with some Americans working from home, saving money, and spending lavishly online, and others struggling to pay for rent and groceries after their jobs evaporated.

That’s especially so in tourism-dependent states like Colorado, which drew nearly

You need to play this classic flight sim for free on Nintendo Switch ASAP

“Make it crash or something,” Bart tells Milhouse of his remote-control plane in the classic Simpsons episode “Bart After Dark.”

Milhouse responds, “perfectly level flying is the supreme challenge of the scale model pilot.”

While that answer doesn’t sit well with Bart, Milhouse is absolutely correct. It is hard to get a plane to fly level, and the feeling of accomplishment that you get when you can finally do it is more rewarding than any spectacular crash. It’s this spirit that the original 1990 Pilotwings for SNES captures perfectly.

If you’re a Nintendo Switch Online subscriber, you can play Pilotwings right now for free by downloading the Super Nintendo Entertainment System app.

A small plot reveals itself in Pilotwings, but the game is mostly concerned with the player passing various flight certifications of increasing difficulty. There are five modes of flight in the game—a
