Kamala Harris’ Thanksgiving Cornbread Recipe Is Not the First Time She’s Showed Off Her Cooking Skills

Kamala Harris has shared one of her family’s favorite Thanksgiving recipes for cornbread dressing. This is not the first time she has shown off her cooking skills.

The vice president-elect, who comes from a family of expert cooks, has been sharing recipes and tips in online videos and posts for a while.

In May, she taught Senator Mark Warner how to make the perfect tuna melt on YouTube and in November 2019, she cooked a masala dosa with actress Mindy Kaling on Instagram Live.

Ahead of Thanksgiving last year, Harris was also filmed divulging her turkey cooking tips to Washington Post columnist Jonathan Capehart in a speedy off-air conversation that quickly went viral.

Can your boss make you use sick leave or vacation time for COVID?

Only certain employers are required to give sick time under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — You go to work. You wear your mask. You wait away from others and you wash your hands. You still get COVID or a coworker does and you’re at risk. Can your employer require you to use your sick leave or vacation time? Yes and no.

The Families First Coronavirus Response Act or FFCRA requires only certain employers are required to provide employees with paid sick leave or expanded medical leave due to COVID-19.

Covered employers are public or private employers with fewer than 500 employees and small businesses with fewer than 50 employees may be exempt. This means employers with 51 to 499 employees are covered under this special sick leave, but the rest are not.

“The government thought employers who had more than 500 employees would provide sick leave

COVID-19 rapid testing center opens at Ontario airport, just in time for holiday travel

ONTARIO, Calif. (KABC) — A drive-through COVID-19 testing center that offers results within 20 minutes is now operational at Ontario Airport, allowing passengers to determine whether they are infected with the coronavirus before they travel.

“The idea is, how do we make our passengers feel as safe and as comfortable as possible during these very unusual times,” says Ontario International Airport spokesperson Steve Lambert.

He acknowledges that even though the Centers for Disease Control has discouraged people from traveling, there are people who are going to travel anyway.

“Ontario Airport is going to handle 100,000 passengers during the Thanksgiving holiday,” he says.

The operation is run by Covid Clinic, which offers a variety of services, including tests for COVID-19 antibodies.

“It’s going to be nasal for this location, it’s only nasal. So depending on the type of test you’re getting it’s either going to be a nasal pharyngeal, which is

Universal Credit application process just changed and it’s actually good news this time

The DWP has changed the rules for people applying for Universal Credit online, in an effort to make things simpler and quicker.

People with an existing Government Gateway account can now confirm their identity digitally.

The change comes as 600,000 people have signed up for the six-in-one benefit since April.

The DWP said the new service speeds up the application proces by letting people enter their details and find out almost instantly if their identity has been confirmed before moving on to the next stage in the application process.

Minister for Welfare Delivery Will Quince said:“Confirm Your Identity lets people set up a benefit claim without ever needing to leave their home – which is especially important during the ongoing pandemic.

“Claiming benefits shouldn’t be challenging and we continue to make improvements to the system to make the process as simple as possible.”

The DWP said it means you don’t

It’s time for ‘Animaniacs.’ Meet N.J. talent behind zany-to-the-max series revival.

“Animaniacs” had been off the air for about a decade when Jess Harnell got an offer to reprise his character for a popular TV series.

For five seasons, the actor had voiced Wakko, the Liverpudlian middle child of the ’90s animated sibling trio of Yakko, Wakko and Dot, otherwise known as the Warner Brothers and Warner Sister.

The proposed concept: “Whatever happened to the Warner Brothers?” His fellow “Animaniacs” voiceover artists were also asked to sign on.

However, the pitch got a little more dicey from there. (The show making the request deals in more adult-oriented kind of humor.) Yakko was going to be a drug addict. Harnell’s beloved Wakko? Shooting people with an AK-47 from the Animaniacs’ famous water tower.

“They offered us a bunch of money to do it,” Harnell says.

He refused. So did everyone else.

If they were going to bring back the Animaniacs, they had

‘Jersey Shore Family Vacation’ season 4
