The Kitsap County Clerk’s Office in Port Orchard will resume processing passport applications October 12, but those seeking to go to the county courthouse for their travel documents will have to make an appointment.
The office suspended passport services in March as governments and businesses began reacting to the coronavirus pandemic.
Appointments will be for 30 minutes each. For each appointment, a maximum of four people from the same family will be allowed to attend together, according to a statement from the office.
Appointments can be made by calling the office at 360-337-7164, or online by going to the office’s website at: www.kitsapgov.com/clerk.
Office staff will be available to take passport photos.
