How to Watch the Kaley Cuoco Series Online for Free

The Flight Attendant is the latest comedy-drama original for HBO Max, coming to the streamer on Thursday, November 26. Starring The Big Bang Theory‘s Kaley Cuoco, the synopsis for the show reads: “A flight attendant wakes up in the wrong hotel, in the wrong bed, with a dead man—and no idea what happened.”

Though the full season is not available until later this month, HBO Max has made the first episode available to watch online for free now. On November 18, the streamer released the pilot of the show onto their YouTube page, where it is available to watch for those who are not subscribers of the service now.

However, the video is currently only available for those in the U.S., as HBO Max is currently an America-only service. There is currently no word of when and where the show will be available to watch outside of the U.S.

City of Palms Park could be future home of amateur sports complex

Fort Myers officials want to study whether City of Palm Parks could be turned into an amateur multi-sports complex.

Lee County, which owns the the former spring training home of the Boston Red Sox, is set to demolish the 27-year-old park before turning over the land to the city.

The land is part of the city’s redevelopment efforts in Midtown, a 240-acre area bounded by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to the north, Edison Avenue to the south, Cleveland Avenue to the west and Evans Avenue to the east.

Should N.J. casinos close as coronavirus cases spike? We asked 3 experts.

Since they were allowed to open July 2, Atlantic City’s casinos have been working hard to try to make up some of the millions in revenue they lost during the coronavirus shutdown. Another shutdown would put them even further behind and put thousands out of work again.

So far, Gov. Phil Murphy hasn’t given any sign he’s considering closing casinos again as the second wave of the coronavirus wallops New Jersey. The state reported 3,998 new coronavirus cases and 15 additional deaths Sunday, while hospitalizations rose for the 23rd consecutive day.

Asked last week about Philadelphia’s decision to close casinos, Murphy said Atlantic City casinos have been responsibly managing their gaming floors to mitigate the risk, though any indoor activity is not risk-free.

YONKERS, New York – A co-founder of the social media ALS ice bucket challenge, which has raised more than $200 million worldwide for Lou Gehrig’s disease research, died Sunday at the age of 37, according to the ALS Association.

Pat Quinn was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease, also known as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, in 2013, a month after his 30th birthday, the organization said in a statement announcing his death.

School districts saw unprecedented drop in enrollment during pandemic

Going back to school this year has been a lesson in patience. Since the surge of COVID cases this fall, many cities, including New York, Detroit and Philadelphia, have suspended or postponed their plans to hold in-person classes.

The delays and ever changing schedules have been frustrating to parents and students but also worrisome to educators who told us at the start of the school year, hundreds of thousands of students did not enroll. They’re not logging in or coming in. We wondered, where did they go?

To find out, we went to Tampa, Florida where one of the state’s largest school districts, Hillsborough County, saw an unprecedented drop in enrollment.

A wave of evictions is on the horizon. What impact could they have on kids’ education?

There were new additions to classrooms when schools opened this fall. There were plastic shields and cloth facemasks, hand sanitizer and login instructions when learning went online. But something was missing — tens of thousands of students.

The coronavirus pandemic has pushed kids out of school for various reasons: health concerns, a parent losing a job causing the family to move, a lack of internet or devices for virtual learning. Because there is no national database, 60 Minutes compiled enrollment data from 78 of the largest school districts in the country and found nearly a quarter of a million students did not showed up when school began.

Business owners upbeat about vaccine, wary as virus spreads

NEW YORK (AP) — Promising news about a coronavirus vaccine has small business owners feeling more upbeat despite cases of the virus surging in many parts of the U.S.

Owners hope consumers and businesses will be more relaxed about spending now that two drug companies, Pfizer and Moderna, have vaccines that data show were highly effective in testing. Some owners are rethinking their plans — some are holding off on staff cuts, while others say they’re more likely to renew their office leases even as employees still work from home.

But owners also realize many hurdles remain — the vaccines still require approval by the Food and Drug Administration, and then it will take time for millions of doses to be manufactured and widely distributed. Booking.com boss on why Brussels is hampering Europe’s tech ambitions

“People look at a lot of different ways to book. The regulators don’t understand that more than half of hotelier’s business comes to them directly, and they have ways, through very easy-to-use technology, to distribute their rooms to many different retailers like ourselves, or maybe Expedia, or maybe Tui, or a wholesaler. They can send them anywhere and they do.”

At Booking, there is another thing at play here. Booking Holdings may be headquartered in the US but its Booking.com site, the expected subject of the new tougher rules and Booking’s largest business, is headquartered in the Netherlands.
