“Borat” has come to the mocking defense of Trump’s personal attorney Rudy GiulianiRudy GiulianiShift in tone dominates at final Trump-Biden clash Biden swipes at Trump ally Giuliani at debate: He’s ‘being used as a Russian pawn’ Trump strikes different tone as debate opens, then grows more combative MORE after a video of him engaging in explicit behavior with a young woman came to light.
The footage, filmed as a mock interview between Giuliani and a woman posing as a young journalist, will be included in the upcoming Borat sequel “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm” starring Sacha Baron Cohen. In it, Giuliani appears to compliment the “reporter” — who is also Borat’s teenage daughter, played by 24-year-old actress Maria Bakalova — and follow her to a bedroom where he is shown reaching into his pants.
After word of the scene leaked last week, Giuliani defended himself in a series of tweets, in which he claimed he was tucking in his shirt.
(1) The Borat video is a complete fabrication. I was tucking in my shirt after taking off the recording equipment.
At no time before, during, or after the interview was I ever inappropriate. If Sacha Baron Cohen implies otherwise he is a stone-cold liar.

Cohen, as his Kazakh alter-ego Borat Sagdiyev, took to Twitter to jokingly defend the man he dubbed “America’s mayor” in a video Thursday.
“I here to defend America’s mayor Rudolph Giuliani,” Borat says. “What was an innocent sexy time encounter with a consenting man and my 15-year-old daughter has been turned into something disgusting by fake news media.”
He adds, “I warn you, anyone else tries this and Rudolph will not hesitate to reach into his legal briefs and whip out his subpoenas.”

Cohen also responded to Giuliani’s claims as himself while on “Good Morning America” and spoke seriously about the incident.
“If the president’s lawyer found what he did there appropriate behavior, then heaven knows what he’s done with other female journalists in hotel rooms,” he said. “I just urge everyone to watch the movie. It is what it is. He did what he did. And make your own mind up. It was pretty clear to us.”
