Here is hoping everyone had a nice Easter. Mine was nice; I finally got to see some family members after a year of staying home because of this pandemic. I’m sill being cautious, not taking any chances, although I have had my second vaccine.
Last week, I opened my cupboard to retrieve a coffee mug. How in the world do they multiply? “I have to get rid of some of them,” I thought, but later that day, I received three more coffee mugs for my birthday. Though I must admit, they were the perfect gifts!
If you are interested in my age, the cost of a new car was $1,650, while the average yearly wages were $4,000. Gas was 20 cents a gallon. Yikes, I cannot think about those amounts anymore. Now I feel ancient.
Have a great week and make a memory.
Candy’s Place event
Candy’s Place, a cancer and wellness resource center, will hold its annual fundraiser walk virtually this year. The virtual walk, called “VirtuALL,” is open for participation the entire month of May.
