It takes 10 minutes for you to help shape Midland’s future

Asks residents to fill out 10-minute survey

Published

The Midland Parks and Recreation and Planning commissions are asking residents to get involved in the future of the city’s parks and recreation.

Specifically, the city is asking for feedback via a survey that was launched on the city’s online public engagement platform, E-CityHall. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes to complete and can be accessed at www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/ecityhall.

The commissions began this joint process to update the city’s Five Year Community Recreation Plan, which guides the addition of new recreational park facilities and parkland acquisitions within the city. The survey asks respondents to share feedback on the city’s current parks, amenities, and recreational programs as well as provide suggestions for additional amenities they would like to see offered in the future.

Feedback from the survey will be used by the City Parks and Recreation Commission and Planning Commission, city staff, and Midland City Council to review the current state of the city’s parks and recreational programs, make adjustments to current offerings, and plan for future development. In addition, the results will also be included in the future City Modern Master Planning process.
