This information is regarding stores in the U.S. Midwest, but the staff also said they’d heard similar things from other staff in Target stores on the West Coast, South Central, and South-Eastern areas.
The timeframe of the restocks is reported to be between December 27 and December 29, so start checking Target tomorrow if you want to score yourself a new console. However, remember that the PS5 is not available to buy in-store in Targets, so there’s no point in turning up in person. You’ll need to make a purchase online through Target’s website for collection at the store, with drive-up collection available to stay safe and distanced.
The Spiel Times says that Target typically restocks between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m. ET, and that it has restocked the PS5 typically between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m. ET in the past. So you’ll have to make it an early morning if you’re hoping to grab an elusive next-gen console.
