Neighbours spoilers follow for UK viewers.

Next week’s Neighbours episodes see Shane’s secret come under threat when Dipi follows him, while David and Aaron receive some big news about Emmett’s future.

Here’s a full collection of 13 big moments coming up.

1. Dipi gets a nasty surprise

Dipi’s 20th wedding anniversary is just a few days away, but she won’t be celebrating as Shane is too busy with his work and study commitments. She confides in Pierce about the situation and is intrigued when he encourages her to fit something in for the special milestone.

Dipi ends up arranging a romantic dinner to discuss the possibility with Shane, but is disappointed when he fails to show up on time. Sensing something isn’t right, Dipi uses a “find my phone” app to figure out where he is.

Suspicious Dipi follows Shane and finds him lurking on the streets of West Waratah, where he has just bought another supply of drugs from his dealer.

Although Dipi doesn’t see the transaction, she knows that Shane’s weird night-time outing could be a major concern.

2. Dipi searches for answers

Dipi fails to find the right moment to confront Shane about what she saw. She soon resorts to other methods by cornering Roxy, aware that she’s close to Shane and may know something.

Although Roxy is aware of Shane’s drug addiction, she decides to protect his secret and makes out to Dipi that she has no idea what’s going on.

Feeling helpless, Dipi confides in Jane about Shane’s secrecy and the troubled state of their marriage. Jane suggests that Shane could be struggling with depression, but Dipi strongly suspects that something else is going on.

3. Shane crosses the line with Roxy

Roxy feels terrible for Dipi when she spots her looking tearful with Jane at The Waterhole. Annoyed with Shane for making his wife so miserable, Roxy heads over to Number 30 and confronts him.

Roxy makes Shane aware of the impact his secret is having, before searching through his backpack to find more drugs. When she gets her hands on his latest supply, Roxy takes decisive action by trying to dump it down the sink.

With his addiction consuming his thoughts, things turn physical as Shane desperately tries to get the drugs back. Kyle walks in on this terrifying moment and breaks things up, totally appalled by Shane’s behaviour.

4. News of Shane’s anger spreads

Kyle strongly rebukes Shane for his violent outburst and Roxy has to stop him from taking things any further. With Shane and Roxy both keeping quiet about the reason for their row, Kyle still isn’t fully in the picture.

Later, Kyle tells Dipi about her husband’s out-of-control behaviour, which leads to Shane’s family staging an intervention. Dipi and Toadie believe that Shane is dealing with some serious anger issues and needs to get help.

Shane seemingly accepts the support of his loved ones and promises to go and stay with his brother Stonie for a while, allowing him to clear his head. Sadly though, this could just be another lie to protect his secret for a while longer.

5. David and Aaron face a backlash from Emmett

Jenna has been fired from Lassiters after stealing alcohol from the business. Emmett is quick to blame David and Aaron for this, wrongly believing that they snitched on Jenna.

It’s Jenna herself who later sets the record straight, telling Emmett that a fellow employee was responsible for tipping off the management about her mistake.

Emmett feels terrible for blaming his foster parents and turns his anger towards Jenna instead. With more broken promises and disappointment, it’s clear that Jenna is still a long way off from being a fit parent for Emmett.

6. Emmett’s future is left uncertain

Life at Number 32 settles back into a happy dynamic once David and Aaron are back in Emmett’s good books. While Aaron is busy at work, David even treats Emmett to a “day of fun” at the house and lets him play on his previously-confiscated PS4.

Unfortunately, the happy atmosphere doesn’t last for long when David and Aaron receive a phone call to inform them that Emmett’s aunt has returned from New Zealand. She’s now being considered to take care of Emmett permanently, meaning that David and Aaron could lose him.

7. Pierce and Nicolette clash

A new dynamic comes into play at Number 24 as Fay stays with the Greysons, and Nicolette adjusts to her new commitments as her live-in carer. While Nicolette is getting on well with most of the family, there’s an uneasy tension between her and Pierce.

The situation comes to a head when Fay becomes confused while Chloe is out. Pierce is worried that Chloe is taking on too much, so he insists that she shouldn’t be contacted about this. Nicolette defies his wishes by calling Chloe, prompting her to rush back and check on Fay.

Pierce feels undermined by Nicolette and gives her a warning over her behaviour. Both start to wonder whether it might be time for Nicolette to leave, but it’s ultimately agreed that she’ll be staying. Can they make things work?

8. Mackenzie stages a protest at Lassiters

Paul is being slow to implement eco-friendly changes at Lassiters, so Mackenzie thinks it’s time to revisit the idea of a protest. Before long, Mackenzie, Hendrix and Richie have teamed up to carry out a livestreamed protest from inside the hotel premises, exposing the various areas which are in dire need of improvement.

Paul is furious when he stumbles across the online stream and the negative attention that it’s causing. Caught between her family and her principles, Harlow has to decide whether to support the protest or not.

9. Levi and Bea end up in a fake relationship

Levi worries when he finds out that his prescription has been destroyed in the wash, leaving him without any epilepsy medication. With a busy day ahead at work, Levi asks Bea to help him out by picking up his next supply later on, once a new prescription has been sorted.

Bea agrees to help, but Yashvi realises the pair are keeping a secret. Aware that Levi doesn’t want anyone to know about his epilepsy, Bea comes up with the first cover story she can think of – she and Levi are in a secret relationship.

Yashvi is surprised by this supposed romantic development, especially after Levi previously dismissed Bea as a potential love interest because she had “too much baggage” for him to handle. When Yashvi accidentally lets this crucial fact slip, Bea is hurt to realise what Levi said.

10. Terese has an honest conversation with Paul

Terese has faced a difficult few weeks with Paul, especially since they had different perspectives over Jenna’s drinking. The Lassiters protest also causes some problems, but the final straw comes when Ned pitches a business plan to Paul for the Backpackers.

Paul appears dismissive towards Ned’s ideas, which annoys Terese. However, she’s surprised to realise that Paul simply didn’t want to get Ned’s hopes up before looking into the practicalities.

Now in a better place, Terese reveals that Jenna’s alcohol struggles have stirred up some of her own issues. Paul immediately moves into support mode, realising that he hasn’t been there to help Terese in the way that she needed.

11. Ned receives a warning from Yashvi

Ned is continuing to promote his career on the website Fandangle, but he seems to be kidding himself as he repeatedly tries to insist that it’s all about the art. Knowing that Fandangle has a certain reputation, Kyle points out that it could be seen as sleazy.

Yashvi also points out that Ned’s subscribers seem to be more interested in his body, rather than the artistic thought that has gone into his photos. This isn’t helped by the fact that Ned has accidentally uploaded a picture which, thanks to a conveniently-placed mirror in the background, reveals a little more than he was expecting.

Although Ned’s page is anonymous, Yashvi urges him to be careful as she’s aware that online interactions like this can go horribly wrong.

12. Toadie looks into dating again

Toadie takes a major step by setting up an online dating profile. As his most recent relationship with Dee happened in such unusual circumstances, it’s the first time that he has really explored the dating game since losing Sonya.

Karl offers to help Toadie make a choice between his various online admirers, but Toadie soon regrets having him involved. Karl goes too far by interrupting one of Toadie’s dates and accidentally scaring off the lady in question.

13. Kyle struggles with jealousy

Kyle realises that he’s feeling jealous of Levi, who’s still getting special attention from Sheila. Sheila is determined to make amends with Levi over her past mistakes, so she is spoiling him every chance she gets.

Kyle resorts to childish measures by pretending to be sick in order to regain Sheila’s attention. When Sheila realises that she’s being duped, she demands an explanation from Kyle.
