Walmart Just Released a Brand-New Line of Dessert Bars for Your Next Picnic

Was this the strangest Fourth of July ever? Yes, at least for those of us who are used to gargantuan family gatherings. With COVID-19, we all had to celebrate a little differently. Thankfully, many of us were still able to hold small get-togethers with family and friends.

In that spirit, we’ve already started thinking about our next socially distanced picnic. And apparently, so has Walmart, because they’re making a line of bakery treats that’ll add some serious sweetness to your backyard barbecue.

Cakes, Bars and Brownies—Oh My!

Walmart has gone all out on this release for their Marketside line, and we’re extremely grateful. They’ve given us NINE different types of treats. There’s peanut butter, triple chocolate and turtle brownies; lemon, raspberry oat and “ooey gooey butter” bars; and iced lemon, marble and banana nut cakes.

If you’re curious as to what this much sugary goodness looks like, @dadbodsnacks on Insta has got you covered:

Here’s how shopping at Walmart has changed because of COVID-19.

Where Can I Buy Them?

If you’re drooling just looking at those pictures, you’ll be happy to hear they’ll soon be available in stores. In fact, they might be at your Walmart already! You can’t buy them online, although at least for the lemon bars and raspberry bars, you can find them on the website and check availability. It looks like they’re priced at around $5 per dessert.

If you’re unable to find them, never fear. You can always make your own comparable sweet treats, like these refreshing lemon bars.
